Business empowering young Australians to reach their potential
in the future world of work

what we do

The Australian Business and Community Network is a group of almost 200 low socio-economic status schools and over 50 leading businesses and organisations, working together to address educational disadvantage through structured workplace mentoring and business/school partnerships.

Our corporate mentors support the development of students’ skills and mindsets, confidence and aspiration, so they can achieve more than they thought was possible.

Scholarships for
high-potential students

The ABCN Foundation awards scholarships to exceptional students whose disadvantage impacts their ability to complete school and pursue tertiary pathways. This three-year program provides financial assistance as well as mentoring support during Years 11, 12 and the first year post-school.

For some kids — all it takes is that one conversation and it just changes their whole entire lives. I now want to be that person, so that I can also talk to the next generation to say: 'I know what you’re going through and there is light'. ”
